Our Story
For a long time, my skincare routine was non-existent. Like a lot of people, I knew I should be taking better care of my skin, but I couldn't stand the friction of traditional lotion - stuff on hands, rubbing, and residue. It didn't fit my life, so I often just did nothing.
I realized that if I was going to be consistent, the process had to be effortless. I started looking for sprays or mists, but I found a gap: they were either overpriced, overly-scented, or weren't built to perform. I wanted something that worked for me and for everyone - unscented formulations that rely on scientifically-based natural ingredients rather than synthetics and perfumes, ensuring they don’t trigger allergies or skew toward one gender. After all, we all have skin that deserves to be healthy.
I founded Samson California to create what I couldn't find - high-performance skincare that is as simple as "Spray and Go." It’s designed to be used daily and in those moments when you're moving fast: after a surf, after a workout, or even when the kids are calling and you’re halfway out the door. We focused on a technical "Trinity" - The Sea, The Earth, and The Garden - inspired by our California coast and engineered here in the United States using bioactive, botanical ingredients to stabilize, defend, and refine.
This isn't just a brand; it’s a family commitment. My wife and our two boys are as much a part of this as I am, and they’re already eager to help spread the word in our local Los Angeles community. Since I started using these sprays, I’ve felt a real difference in the clarity and health of my skin. Our mission now is to bring that same "Zero Friction" health to every body.
